GM needs to resume production of 4 door Sedans with combustion engines. I have no desire to purchase an EV. I am not alone. The limited selections for vehicles is unacceptable and is not market driven, but forced by govt mandates that are being repealed. EVs are not economically viable, are range limited and are unwanted by consumers.

I had seen the truck on-line at the Eddy's everything site, then stopped by to see it in person. Jasper(Island guy), is a very pleasant and personable salesman, he made a great afternoon for us. And, long story short, he made the sale too. Everyone we interacted with at the dealership was top notch, great personalities, all fun and easy to talk to.

Communication was terrible. I was working with Chris. I was at first told a part wasn’t in stock and would take 2-3 weeks to get in. I texted asking for updates several times, but eventually I was ghosted. I eventually called back months later and was told Chris had been trying to get a hold of me because they had the part in but needed authorization for me to pay $2600 for a part before they fixed my car and put it back together. I said they didn’t have my car and he was confused. Turns out someone put someone else’s paperwork in my file. He promised to call me back after they sorted it out. He didn’t, so I had to call in again. Chris said he doesn’t have a direct line, so I kept having to call, talk to a receptionist and hope to get with him or they’d promise a call back. Chris never called back, and if he did, he didn’t leave voicemails. They realized the error and got my an appointment for Monday and said it would take a day. I called at the end of Monday and they said the car wasn’t ready but would be Tuesday. I borrowed my wife’s car since she was working at home. Never heard anything Tuesday. I called around 2:30 and was promised a call back as Chris couldn’t get a hold of the mechanic. I didn’t get a call back. I called again after 4:00, and the receptionist couldn’t get a hold of Chris. I asked for a manager and she couldn’t get a hold of a manager. I drove to Eddys and waited to talk to Chris in person. He said my car still wasn’t done. He said they had no loaners and rental cars were booked a week out, said I was SOL. Then he remembered they had a Silverado EV that nobody liked I could use. After 20 minutes, it was ready for me. He took a photo copy of my credit card, which is against Visa rules, if not illegal. Anyway, the car wasn’t done until Thursday and I was not communicated with Wednesday at all. I dropped the truck off, asked for paperwork, then left with my Volt. I’m happy that it is fixed! I know Eddys is busy and understaffed, but it was not a good experience. To make matters worse, I got a call from Justin in sales, asking when i was going to pick up my truck(?). I said I had dropped off the loaner truck and picked up my Volt the day before. He seemed embarrassed and apologized, saying they must not have finished it out. I expressed my frustration to Chris and Justin. Justin was nice and cared, but Chris just gave excuses. Not a pleasant experience and I will not do business with any Eddy’s dealership in the future.
